§ 26-9. Private removal; vehicles restricted, spilling.

  • No person shall be prohibited by this chapter from removing the accumulation of garbage and trash from the premises under his control; provided, however, that any person hauling or transporting trash or garbage shall provide for such use a motor driven vehicle or trailer equipped with a bed or body of sufficient tightness to prevent the garbage or trash from escaping therefrom and which shall be covered in such a manner so as to prevent such garbage and trash from blowing therefrom. It shall be unlawful for any person hauling or transporting any kind of garbage or trash to allow, suffer, or permit such garbage or trash to fall or be scattered upon any public street within the town.
